Thailand has always been a colorful country, with it's beautiful color silks; traditional tribal colored clothing costumes; and their classical color dress. Every major holiday seems to have a specially designed and colorful shirt to be worn during festival time. Now you have to be careful what color of shirts you wear. Primarily solid color shirts YELLOW, RED, and PINK have meaning. And at which time and location you wear it is the issue. Three years ago, YELLOW, was prime color to wear for government workers and anyone wishing to show support to his Royal Highness,King Bhumibol Adulyadej. That was his chosen color. The Royal Seal was embroderied on the shirt pocket or near that area of pocketless shirts. Now government workers wear "PINK" shirts with the Royal Seal. I don't know the reason why Pink was picked, but that will need some researching. Then the political unrest started and the "People's Alliance for Democracy," PAD adopted yellow shirts as a...
